At eight and a half months old young Talia is trying to walk before she crawls and she calls me “ogda” instead of “dada”. I would imagine that she should be able to say somethingcoherent within the next six months.

With regard to daycare, my course of action so far has been to wait until Talia can sensibly convey her thoughts before placing her in a daycare setting and trusting someone else to watch and care for her. I want her to be able to tell me how her day went and any problems or concerns she may have.
